ate so much last wkend!
fri:
dinner at golden fortune in kalaw. ang dami naming inorder grabe! 6 lng kme, inorder namin 10 dimsum, 1 yang chow, 1 soup, at 2 ulam! gluttony!!! tapos after nun nag-mrs fields pa kme!!! hahahahha! then after nun tambay kna jon, heheheh nakatulog ata kmeng lahat eh!
sat:
went to salcedo market in the morning! bought samosas, canonigo, hungarian sausage, thai buko, cebu chorizo, baked fish something, bitterballen, flourless chocolate cake with dates and almonds! we were also supposed to buy tequilla mussels, kaso naubusan kme :( after market we went to chelsea to have lunch :) we ordered roasted chicken, lamb shank, and pasta with meatball! yumeee! and we were so full after! too bad, i was looking forward to trying their cookie dough cheesecake and the banana cream pie! dble babalikan ko un nxt tym! pati ung sausage! dinner naman knain lng namin ung hungarian sausage na bnli earlier, plus porkchop. then we had the flourless cake for dessert =P~
sun:
naguwi c mama ng fookien fried rice from lido for lunch! yumee!!! ung lechon na inuwi ko from cebu parang d na gaano masarap.. feelng ko ang tagal na kc sa ref... then we ate the canonigo (which we also bought from the market) for dessert. dinner naman we ate at sizzlin pepper steak! we ordered seafood rice!! (sarap!!!), tori karage (fired chicken breasts marinated in ginger and soy sauce), and rib eye steak! eyerthing was ohhh soooo goooood =P~ too bad they didnt have the chicken pepper steak! kelangn ko natikman un pagbalik ko! then nagyaya c mama magdessert sa cafe breton! we ordered la pinay (mango crepe with chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream) and normandie (crepe with stewed apples, caramel ice cream, caramel syrup, and whipped cream!)
kelangn na ulit magdiet at exercise today!!!!
cebu-bantayan 2007
our trip to cebu was so much fun!!! definitely worth the leave! could have been better if i was not resolving work issues.. o well... anyway, here's our itenerary:
friday:
met up at the airport with my cebu buddies - thessa, theresa, dandan, cathy, third, armand, andrew - for our 5am flight (adik!!!! hahaha)
arrived at cebu around 6-630, went to the pension house (may ipis sa cr huuhuh), then slept.
woke up at around lunchtym. went to jo's chicken inato to have lunch. mura lng nung inato(inasal)! at panalo ang buko halo/halo buko (whatever it is called). it is basically a halo halo in a buko! yumee!! i don't like ube ice cream, but i appreciated it for this one :)
then went to ayala center para magikot ikot. i was able to buy shirts hihihi! finally kasya narn skn ang mga shirtsa sa bisaya! unlike last yr
then we were supposed to go to magellan's cross near shangri la mactan... apparently magkalayo ang magellan's cross at shangri la mactan. ang dapat pala eh mactan shrine! so kme ni armand at theresa napadpad sa magellans cross dahl magkakasma kme sa taxi. after magellan's cross taxi kme again to shangri la mactan! hay that was the longest drive ever! stupid driver kasi! as in mga 1 1/2 hours ata kme sa taxi dahil naligaw kme! apparently d pala nya alam kng asan un! inis na inis nga kme eh! c armand inaaway na ung driver! mga quotable quotes ni armand: "you're the driver, you're supposed to know" "SO, do we know how to get there already?"
finally nakaratng kme ng shangri la mactan, naicpan namin kmain sa tides (buffet restau dun) but the price was a whooping 1400!!! so nag sutukil nlng kme! sarap ng food hihihi! panalo ung inihaw na fish!! yumeeee !!!
then we went back to the pension house to freshen up for our gimik. heheheh nirereklamuhan na kme kasi ang tagal naming girls maligo hahahaha! after 2 hours (hehehe) we went to vudu na! may crazy korean girl dun na weird smayaw... kadiri hahaha! ang mga koreans tlga pasikat dun hehehe! maaga rn kme umalis, mga 2 ata dahil maaga pa kme aalis the next day para pmntang bantayan
saturday:
730am sinundo na kme ng driver coz we rented a van to go to hagnaya port. wild ang driver! 2 hours lng umabot na cya ng port! at ako ang ulo ko mamaya sasandal sa left mamaya sasandal sa right heheheh super antok!
10am we arrived at the port. rode the 1030 boat. then after an hour we were in bantayan!!! nice ung kota beach! we arrived at around lunchtym na, so nagorder na kme sa kainan sa kota. aba inabot ng 1 oras bago dmatng ung food!! gutom na gutom kme huhuhu! 4 na dishes lng inorder namin ha! 2 variations pa un na tig-2 orders!
after lunch poker me with the boys! im a survivor hahaha! kc ako na ung may pnakaonting chips (as in 4 chips nlng ata) tapos nanalo pako hanggng sa nakabawi ako! yahoo!!! ang tagal bago may naeliminate samin! c andrew ung first casualty heheh! tapos loko tong c armand! sabay kmeng ni-wipe out ni third! pano nag-all in, eh c third pair ace lng, ako straight 5-9, tapos c armand straight 10-king. langya! kala ko mananalo nako ahahha!
after poker beach na hehehe swim swim ang init ng water hahaha!
dinner naman kme sa portuguese. naghati kme nila thessa n tc sa pizza. ung iba nageat all u can. tapos videoke dn dun. buti nlng ung mga mamang nag-iinuman hindi naman kme inano, then went home to sleep na, habang nagiinuman ung iba sa beach heheh
sunday:
maaga kme nagising ni tc para pmnta sa palengke to buy food para ipapaluto for lunch. nabili namin pork belly n pusit. wala kcng maayos na fish.. so naghanap kme ng gulay for ensalada, ang tagal tagal namin heheh! so by the tim enatapos kme sa gulay may dmatng na na seafood! yipee!!! we were able to buy fish and crab! ung crab ang panalo! ang laki ng claw, tapos 50 pesos lng per kilo!! panalo!!! so ang dami na naming food for lnch! at lahat un nsa 500+ pesos lng! ang mura!
so fiesta ang aming lunch/breakfast eheheheh! panalo tlga ung fish at crab!!! ung liempo matigas :( pero nevertheless, total cost namin nsa 150 lng, with that amount of food, super sulit!
then tambay ulit sa kwarto, tapos nagyaya c thessa at tc na maglibot. una dapat magrerent ng bike, e d ako runong bike. so bike ang padyak dapat. sb ng mga padyak boys eh kme na daw gmala on our own.. tnry namin, e narealize namin na bka naman d namin kayanin heheh, so nagsama sama nlng kme sa isang padyak at c manong ang nagdrive heheheh! pmnta kme ng sugar beach! ang ganda ng sand!! parang bora!! pero ugn mga tirahan parang d ganon kaayos. tapos we went to sta fe beach club, nice nung place!!! so cympre nagtagal kme sa picture picture! imagin napagod kme kakapicture hahaha! tapos un nung pabalik nagstop over kme sa isang place na may maraming puno at nagpicture sandali hehhee. then went back to kota na
dinner namin sa may beach. we ordered ribs n fish. ang sarap ng ribs!! at ang mura!!! 400 pesos lng pero anlaki!! ang sarap pa!!!!
monday:
lakas ng ulan nung umaga! akala namin d kme makakabalik sa city on time! hinabol namin ung 1015 na sched ng fast craft, un pala walang biyahe :( so we waited until 1130 for the next byahe.. we arrived in the city ng mga almost 1pm na, then walang van so nagbus nlng kme. inabot kme sa sm ng mga almost 4pm. namili lng kme pasalubong, tapos tnry namin ung cake sa dessert factory. nagorder me chocolate mousse and chocolate cake! pareho clang 100 pesos!!!! mura na ang laki pa! at ang sarap!!!! hehehe sayang wala dito sa manila!
tapos sinundo na kme ni third at tito nya. we had dinner at their house. then hnatid kme sa airport
on the way to the airport, we saw something horrifying. may nagbanggaan na multi cab at jeep. nung nagbanggaan may tumalsik na 2 tao sa likod!!! tapos may nadaganan pa na tao ung multicab ata!!! nakakalokah... scary!!! tapos eh nakapick up kme, c armand nakaupo sa likod, so cympre knabahan kme hehehe! tapos nung sobrang lapit na namin sa airport, umulan ng malakas!!!! so kahit may payong c armand, basang basa cya!!!!!!! nasira pa ung payong! kawawa tlga eheheh! sabi ko nga kna third the other day, naalala ko ung knanta ni armand at dandan sa videoke na "heto ako, basang basa sa ulan, walang masisilungan...." hahahahhaha
pagdatng airport nadelay pala flight namin! from 915 naging 1040 :( pero buti nlng may food kme! rich chow sa chowking hehehe! at least mdyo nakakabawas ng inis heheh!
finally nakaratng kme ng manila 12midnight na heheheh! adik tlga!! pero sulit naman! hihihi
ber months
ber months have finally started! gosh!
last saturday jon and i went to the salcedo saturday market. dami nabili hhehe! saka dami free taste! yumyum!!! dami ko rn nagastos huhuhu :( pero oks lng saya naman! andun c angelica jones, nagiinterview, ipapalabas cgro nila sa tv un
after that grocery naman to buy ingredients for the five spice honey squid and tempura that we're gonna cook for lunch. la kme nakita squid so we ended up with chicken instead. ok naman ung luto, mdyo matapang lang ung five spice. ung tempura ok ung 1st batch, ung next batch mdyo mas dark na ung kulay dahil sa oil heheh! tapos mdyo makapal lng ng onti ung batter. cgro onting practice pa, expert na kme hahah!
then dinner naman sa haus ng uncle ni jon kc bday nya. hehehhe charap ng food!!! tofu, siomai, pansit, chicken =P~ tapos ang kulit nung mga anak ng frens ng uncle ni jon! lalo na c kirby! pwede komedyante hahah! friendly clang lahat ehhehe
knina naman naglnch kme sa apartment 1b! dapat dinner kagabi kaso d natuloy. we ordered roast herb chicken. ordinary lng nothing special. ang panalo s ung toblerone cheesecake!!! ang sarap!! nxt tym try namin ung meatloaf saka chocolate cake. ang nice sbra ng ambiance ng place! sbrang cozy!!! at ang daming nagpareserve, buti nlng may isa pang table na natira.. meant to be ahahaha!
