gastronomic, fun, and fearless day!
cooked steak for breakfast @ jon's house yesterday. sarap ng steak hehhehe! namiss ko na magluto with jon.
after that i went to the manila food and beverages expo yesterday @ the world trade center with becca and del. the expo was quite disappointing. there weren't the usual stalls that i buy from like theobrama, hungry pac, and other dessert stalls. i ended up taking home 1 whole roasted chicken, which was recommended by my cousin. i also bought 3 for 200 back issues of yummy magazine and 3 for 100 back issues of food magazine. i was also able to see sab as part of the host of the chef attack event of the expo. galing nya hehehe!
then we headed off to have lunch @ fluke in a venue. we ordered three cheese lasagna, salpicao, and garlicky chicken. the lasagna and the salpicao were good =P~ the chicken tasted ordinary. we were already half way into our lasagna when we saw a hair at the bottom of the plate :( good thing the owner was kind enough to replace it :) at first i wanted to have the mango cobbler, but i was already full with the entrees and has no more room left for dessert. i'll definitely come back for that next time
after lunch we went to the venue hall for the cosmo youniverse event. when we went inside the hall, it looked uninteresting. it only took us like 5mins to go around the whole place. wanting to maximize our entrance fee (which is to buy the june issue of the mag), we went to try out some clothes. after trying them on we already saw jeco and LC, and the booths started to liven up! i was the first one to have my photo taken at the female network blowup babies booth where i would be "in the cover of cosmo". buena mano ako hahah! it was so much fun! when it was del's turn to have her picture taken, 4 cosmo hunks went to her to have her picture taken with them! o diba bongga! kahit sa cosmno event marami parin boys c del bwahahhaa! in fairness may itsura ang mga boys! go del!!! hahhaa! then we also had our picture taken in the fotoloco booth! ang kulit! at first d pa kami masyado marunong so ang gulo ng pic namin! pero nung pagtagal expert na kami bwahahhaa! i also has my hair ironed pero too late na for the picture hahaha! c del dn nagpamakeup while we were waiting for our cosmo pics to be printed out. we should have had our makeover first before having our pictures taken! dble i have a feelng may second run pa tong event next month so im definitely going!

HR dinner out
finally natuloy narin ang gurlz night out last night! this was the first time mia and i saw vannie since she came back from the states :D
we had dinner at la maison gb5, the food was great!!!!!! =P~ we ordered lamb chops, bacon wrapped angus beef with grilled prawns, steamed salmon, grilled chicken linguine with bleu cheese, and wagyu burger. kath ordered pumpkin soup while i ordered prawn bisque. pano ba naman gutom na gutom na kami hahaha! c vannie nga inunahan na namin kumain dahil d na namin matiis hahaha! so pagdatng nya parang sinalanta ng bagyo ang pagkain! pero inorderan naman namin cya ng pasta ehhehe. grabe namiss ko kasama ang HR! cympre d mawawala ang picture! na same pose with 5 shots from 5 different cameras hahaha! at cympre andyan ang wacky poses ni vannie and roz! at napagplanuhan na namin ang "vannie's night" sna matuloy ahhaha! nakakatawa dn kasi the whole night we were contemplating if we're gonna have dessert or not. actually i forgot that we brought a cake nga pala for joanne hahaha! buti nlng naalala namin just in time aahahah! ang ganda pa ng plating ha, at ang laki laki ng kutsilyo panghiwa! sumunod na ang mga boys (mark, jas, dan, oliver) for dessert. since kami ni vannie ay walang mga partners, kami nlng muna ang magka-date for the night hehehe :P
nxt time dapat ung kakainan namin may parang secluded place, para pwd magskandalo at pwd magpose ng kahit ano ahhaha!
la mesa ecopark
in lieu of our long wkend overnyt plans, my officemates and i went to lamesa ecopark instead. the place was nice for picnic, ang dami ngang tao nung pumunta kami. ang init nga lang so we weren't able to go up to see the dam. super fun ung boating, kasama ko c jeco saka c sir rich sa boat. kme ni jeco taga sagwan tapos c bossing ang aming captain hahhaha! cya taga instruct kng ano gagawin. in fairness umabot naman kme ni jeco from one side to the other! at pinagpawisan tlga kami hahahha!
after that we had lunch sa grilled tomato sa morato. mas masarap parn sa mister kabab hehehe! then tambay kna sir rich. nakanood kme ng 3 movies hahaha, then dinner sa jozu :D
philippine fashion week 08
went to the philippine fashion week last may 29 at the SMX with mam che, jeco, and LC. the show we watched was men's wear. it was my very first time to watch one, and it was so cool since we were seated sa loob, so we got the feel of it. and cympre ang ganda ng ambience kasi puro sosyal din na tao yung andun. may 2 models na nagstand out sa paningin namin ni jeco, baby face kasi hehehe! onting artista lang andun, namely c jon avila, meryll soriano, and mikey lang ang nakita namin. even before the show started, nagpicture picture na muna kami sa 2nd floor! cympre feelng mga models! then after the actual program pumunta talaga kami sa ramp para magpicture! ang saya talaga! at bago kami umalis, si LC talagang nagpapicture with jon avila!!! shucks ang gwapo nya ang showbiz tlga ha! habang nagpic kami with him nung nagpose na, sabi nya "o lapit kayo" and he drew us closer to him! o daba! then after nya nagpapic din kami with the pinay supermodel (hehe forgot her name) grabe ang tangkad nya!
watching the fashion show was just half of the fun. dressing up and preparing for the event was other part! cympre tlgang todo karir din kami sa mga outfits namin! c LC and jeco nakadress, ako nakajeans with asymetric top. sayang c mam che kng walang meeting sna nakaporma rin.
then after the show we had dinner at hooters. their bestseller, which was the chicken wings tasted so-so. our server was kinda lost. all the hooters girls were.... i don't wanna comment anymore. their burger was good and the fries was also good. but overall, i wouldn't recommend the place to anyone else

kakaiba ang bday treat ni del! sa tagaytay kami! we met up at mcdo lasal. then picked up alvin sa shell slex. buti nlng late kami! kundi tagal namin inintay c alvin dun! then had lunch at greek tavern. yummy food! then dessert at FIC cliffhouse. then tambay sandali sa starbux, then pasalubong sa rowena's.
sayang d namin naiwanan c becca this time! sa start na cya nagCR, d na after the meal, si del kasi tnakot hahahaa!
