of overtimes and more overtimes

what a way to start my 21st year of existence in this world

parang may naalala ako na kasabihan na kung ano ung gnagawa mo pagpatak ng new year eh yun ang gagawin mo the whole year. so kunwari pag may kagalit ka batiin mo na bago magnew year dahil pag inabot kyo ng new year na magkagalit eh tatagal na un for the whole year. buti nalang di applicable yun sa birthdays!

pano ba naman, pagkatapos ng aking kaarawan ay napasubo ako sa trabaho... naasign kasi ako sa bcs proj ng aming team doing business explorer stuff (last minute addition lang ako dahil kulang sa manpower) so sa rcb ang workstation namin. since maraming requirements na kelangn tapusin in such a short span of time, halos buong week kme nag-ot ni thessa. actually nung mon lang ako hnd nag-ot, nung tues to sunday eh ot me... at hnd lang simpleng ot, first time ko naexperience ang matapos ng mga 1230 am o db? nakakatawa nga kc nung sunday eh umalis ako ng ofc at naglunch n dinner with family sa gbelt. eat and run ako as in after kain balik ofc agad. tapos ds week medyo bawas na.. meaning wed to fri.. pero malala dn dahl nung wed eh 145am na kme natapos, nung fri naman halos ganong time dn... nasasanay na nga ako eh...

pero in fairness, kahit na lagi akong ot at inaantok, mas gs2 ko naman to dahl mas marami akong natututunan... and i also get to meet people like the pldt peeps and the sap consultants! masaya nga cya eh.. kasi compared to working on ASR's which is usually handled by only one person, d2 sa project talagng working together.. grabe super bonding n nga kami ni thessa no! lagi ko kasing kinukulit hahahah! at pag stressed na kame at ot, eh dinadaan nalang namin sa tawanan at kulitan. totoo nga ang sabi skn ni ma'am che, stressful dn ang work sa amn, pero what makes the diff is yung mga kasama mo... since the team is composed of very young and cool ppl, mas d ko nafifil ang stress :) tska bait ng mga sap consultants dahil sinamahan nla kme ni thessa hanggng matapos kme sa gngwa namin which is sbrang late na (thanks enzo, joey, joven!) buti nalang ang mga consultants na kasama namin eh young dn, kalog, at hindi indians hehehe.. dont get me wrong i dont have anythin against indians ha! cympre bawas ang kakulitan pag ganon dahl pahirapan sa inglishan pag cla kausap db? hehehehhe!! kaya d lang ung learning experience ang mamimiss ko pag natapos ang proj na to, mas mamimis ko ung mga bonding moments and kulitans with the ppl involved... pero kelan nga kaya matatapos ang proj na to..... hmmm.....

basta ill enjoy nlng this until it lasts... next up - HR proj! sna masama ako d2!!! bring it on!!!

of legal age

had a weekend full of blast!!!! it couldnt have been any better heheheh!!

since last saturday morning i had no agenda, i went to the parlor to have hot oil services for my hair and a pedicure (this is in preparation for my long overdue night out with the party ppl!! c u all on the 14th!)

in the afternoon del becca and i (with the whole family of del) went to world trade to check out the food expo. it wasnt that much, and there wasnt any chocolate fondue (awww......), but i was able to buy the box of assorted brownies from jammie's that i wanted for quite some time now. i also bought wheat cookies from my goodness (so it was supposed to be healthy). we also tried carabao's milk with chocolate syrup which was really yummy but quite expensive.. of course there were always the free food samples hehhehhehe!

we were done in world trade at around 5pm, so del's parents decided that we eat dinner at emerald garden. we were already in buendia taft when they called del, so we had to go back to roxas. we sort of had an adventure since the road we took was unfamiliar to us but we were able to manage. after a while they called del again because emerald was still closed and would open at 6pm. they decided to go to another restaurant in mabini (i forgot the name), but it was also closed. finally we had dinner at sofah. i didnt eat a lot since we would still be eating after that.

after dinner becca and i bade goodbye to del n des as we rode off to gateway mall to meet alvin and mia so that we could go together to dandan's. it was my first time to go there (so u could just imagine my excitement and perkiness as i was there!) the place was really nice!! and there were lots of restaurants!!! we didnt have much time to go around since mia was already there waiting for us and alvin was supposed to be near the area already. but i insisted that becca and i check out the mandarin oriental cafe. their desserts looked really gooooooooooooooooooood........ and the truffles only cost 25 bucks each (which is really cheap considering it IS mandarin oriental. besides max brenner's praline cost 45 bucks each!), so i indulged myself on a dark chocolate truffle and a bailey's truffle. i liked em both, esp the dark chocolate!!! i definitely have to go back there for another round! after buying the truffles, we met mia at fully booked. incidentally mae was also joining us. after a while alvin arrived. becca suggested we ride a taxi to dandan's since there were 5 of us.

we arrived at dandan's and becca and i had part 2 of our dinner hehehe! ysang also arrived during dinner. then we had karaoke and inuman session. marjo, moe, and myk were also there! we really had so much fun because of the crazy antics of ysang which made us laugh the whole night!!!! we also gossiped the whole night away until the wee hours of the morning! (it was already bright outside!) here are just some of the hightlights of our karaoke/inuman session:

- dandan's perfect score (which made us think that she did some hocus pokus on the magic mic... heheh just kidding!!)
- ysang singing with emotions, and her unbelievably not-so-high scores on her solo numbers (was there really something wrong with the mic? hehehehe) and her funny stories and punchlines!
- mae's "intermission numbers"
- frankie's monotone (heheh peace frankie!!)
- becca's "palitan mo na!"
- alvin's mosh pit
- roz's sleeping!!! (hahahha labshu roz!!!) ah yeah i almost forgot, roz's asking for permission from her mom to sleep over! the was one hell of a phone conversation!

btw, i got an unexpected text message from someone which made me smile hehehheeh =)

the next day frankie dropped mia and i off to glorietta. i was supposed to meet my mom and bro there to have lunch. we arrived there at around 11am. mia and i just walked around. we got stress balls from the booth of sprite ice (we got the last 2 stress balls yipeeeee) we also looked around the bazaar in the activity center. there was jammie's ensaymada (darn!)

my family arrived past 1pm already and we went to bizu to have lunch. we ordered both of their lunch sets for the week, which was baked salmon (for my mom) and beef patty (for my bro). he also ordered bolognese, while i opted for the mixed ravioli. i loved the ravioli because the sauce was really good!!! bizu also gave me a free cake. i chose jolie!!!! it tasted so sinful although it is a sugarless cake!! then we just strolled the mall to kill time because we would be having dinner @ gulliver's in makati ave to celebrate the college graduation of my cousin (btw, she graduated cum laude!!! congrats sab!!!) i ordered veal with marsala sauce (the sauce was really good!) the appetizer was delicious. i also got to taste their beef. it was sooooooo tender!!! my god!!!! the dessert was great too! the ambiance was raelly fit for dates because it was very dark and it had a candelight dinner sort of atmosphere. so much for my diet heheheh!

and yeah, i do hope my wish would come true!!! if not, well, there's always next year hehehehhe

thank god for pex

im here in rcb right now and i cant get the ym to work... too bad cause i wont be able to join the conference where real-time updates of the uaap finals game today are posted.... good thing there is a thread in pex that allows users to post the scores from time to time. yung nga lang d ganon kadetailed ung mga nangyayari sa game... sabagay score lng naman ang habol ko at juicy scenarios (if there are any)

hahaha i also get pbb updates through pex (na mas mabilis gumalaw kysa sa forum sa abscbn) kaya i would know kng kelangan ko pa abangan ang pbb sa prime time o hnd (kc pagdating ng mga 9-930 inaantok na ako)

dinner @ kitchen

last fri nyt e may scheduled dinner kme sa kitchen ng meryenda buddies.

nung umaga nagtext c becca d na daw cya makapnta dahl uuwi ng mla mommy nya.

so that leaves me, del, alvin, ralph, spooky, gelsen, reena

nung gabi na habang nagiintay kme ng upuan, nagtxt c spooky ky del asking kng tuloy. to cut a long story short, d na rn cya pnayagan pmnta.

c ralph n gelsen tnxt ko kng asan na. c ralph papnta na nsa may g4 na cya. c gelsen naman eh nsa bahay pa. late na nakaalis kya hnd umabot

so dat leaves me, del, alvin, and ralph. nangalahati kme.

anyway, i enjoyed the chicken we ordered pero d ko lng maalala ung name

mdyo pricey cya dahl ang liit ng serving. o baka naman ung price eh based sa size ng plato.. ang laki laki naman kc ng plato e knti lng ang laman. kahit hatiin ko sa 2 ang plato kasya pa rn ang ulam

pero d best ang grand slam! para cyang cross between tiramisu and sans rival na may chocolate! da best!!! unang subo pa lng heaven na!!!
