bangkok baby!
holy week was a blast! finally nakaratng narin ako ng bangkok! it was a tiring but a super sulit trip! shopping and food trip galore! after a few years balik ako ulit dun para magtour naman heheh!here's a list of what sol and i did in bangkok:
day 1:
- arrived at bangkok, shet ganda ng airport!
- checked in at bayoike suite hotel
- slept
- breakfast
- tour of the marble temple
- gems store. nakita ko dun c shiela heheh. la naman ako nabili dun dahl d naman ako mahilig sa alahas
- lunch at some turo turo outside the city. ordered grilled chicken, stikcy rice, green papaya salad, bamboo salad, minced pork. masarap ung chicken at pork. ung iba... ummm... bsta hehehe! grabe ang anghang ng luto! as in umaapoy ang bibig ko! panalo!
- elephant and crocodile park. picture with the tiger. then watched the elephant show. steeg ang gagaling ng mga elephants! at ang cucute! the best part ung nagsoccer cla! after ng show pnakain namin cla ng saging at bamboo, tapos picture. then smakay kme sa elepante :D:D:D
- went back to city proper
- shopping at platinum mall, the local 168. here you can buy stuff at a cheaper rate lalo na pag wholesale (by 3's). hassle lng kasi most of the stores dun "no try", meaning bawal isukat ang kanilang mga damit! kaazar! kng pwd lng magsukat, bka mas marami pako nabili dun ahahah! 1 pair of sandals lng nabili ko dun haha! c sol marami nabili! ang pnakahighlight ng platinum mall para samin ay ang chismax! nakita namin dun c angel locsin at luis manzano! tngnan mo nga naman ang pagkakataon! cympre nagpapic kme with them ,dyahe nga lang kasi nanginginig ako dahl starstruck hahah! kya 3 times ko cla pinicturan with sol dahl blurry ung 1st 2 shots haha! ang gwapo ni luis at ang ganda ni angel hehe!
- dinner at platinum food court. we ordered noodles with pork and gravy, kfc something chicken with rice, and their spicy lime chicken. panalo ung noodles saka ung chicken lime charap! and cympre may thai iced tea! yummeee!
- continue shopping at platinum. nakabili ako ng little miss/vintage shirts na uso sa greenhills at such a cheap price! nakabili ako 4 mwehehhe
- night tyangge around baiyoke. nakabili me ng nice board shorts for jon asteeg hehhe!
highlight of the day: seeing angel and luis
day 2:
- breakfast
- went to central chidlom kaso sarado pa. so tumambay muan kme sa starbux sa may amarin, inorder ko ung iced tea nla dun na wala dito. ok ok lng naman.
- central chidlom. wacoal hoarding!!!! inabot kme ni sol ng 2 hours just for that ehehhe! naka 6k+ baht ako worth of wacoal, c sol naman 7k+ heheh!
- rode bts to siam station
- walked to mbk to have lunch. ordered pad thai. so had the lechon. i liked the pad thai sarap hehe!
- shopping at mbk. dami dn little miss shorts dito kaso mahal so d nako bmli heheh!
- ikot ikot around siam discovery at siam paragon. la mabili ang mamahal ng mga stores dun kasi sosyal ehehe!
- ate ice cream at siam paragon. para cyang cold rock. charap hehe!
- siam square! shoping galore! kahilo kasi dami eskinita around na pwd pagshoppingan! sumuko nga kme eh d namin naikot lhat hehe! nakabili ulit me ng vintage shirts for a cheaper price pa kysa sa platinum! so cympre hoard nanaman eheh! nakabili dn me ng partner shirt para saming 2 ni jon. kumbaga magkakabit ung design ng 2 shirts heheh :)
- dinner at a&w sa siam. i ordered chicken curry, potato with cheese, cheeses sticks. c sol curry meal (with soup) saka rootbeer.
- went back to mrk to buy na the food pasalubongs. ang dami binili ni sol so pnalagay nlng sa box. e since makulit akong bata at gs2 ko magpapicture sa may siam paragon, kinalakad ko ang box mula MBK hanggang siam! laugh trip grabe! pnagtitinginan nga kme ng mga tao pero la na ako pake, d ko naman cla klala hehehe
- tuktuk pauwi. grabe ang sasakit ng mga paa namin sbra!
highlight of the day: dragging that damn box from mbk to siam alang alang sa picture ahhaha!
day 3:
- breakfast
- bts skytrain to chatuchak weekend market. parusa dun! ang init grabe! pero ang dami dami daming stalls tlga! parang cyang baclaran/divisoria na super laki! dun ako nakabili ng mga pasalubong sa mga tao. saka nakabili rn me ng 5 capri pants. so sulit narn naman ung init at pagod hehe! tama nga c aimee, kakabili mo lng ng water na malamig after a while mainit na eheheh
- lunch @ spring/summer. hirap hanapin ha! pero worth it! the place was so nice, sosyal. parang serendra type of restau. saka feelng namin tambayan tlga un ng mga sosi dun ahhaha! pricey ang food nila esp na generally mura ang food doon. we ordered chicken marsala (yummy), green chicken curry (masarap sna pero ang onti :(). then for dessert, BTS (better than sex) and chocolate souffle. d namin gaano napansin ung souffle kasoi para lng cyang flourless chocolate cake. the BTS won our hearts over! as in! indeed, it is better than sex! hahaha joke lng! pero pramis ang sarap! choco lava cya, as in god of all choco lavas! ang onti lng nung cake part, as in puro oozing chocolate tlga hehe! sulit ang pnta namin dun! after namin eat tinulungan kami maghanap nga taxi ng manager and/or mayari nung place. may itsura ha saka very ko-i. at magaling magenglish. so tuwang tuwa kme ni sol s knya ehhe! sayang lang d ko cla napicturan magkasama! d ko kasi naicp huhuhu
- BTS to central chidlom! habang nsa BTS kami, ung guy na malapit samin bgla sb "taga san kyo sa maynila?" apparently filipino cya hehe so chinika chika nya kami. tapos bmaba na cla sa stop nla. after nla bmaba pagdatng namin sa next stop saka namin narealize na we missed our stop! we were supposed to go down one station before them! langya daldalan kasi ng daldalan eh! hahah
- central childom grocery naman! naghoard ako ng lays hahah! lahat ng flavor na wala dito sa pinas binili ko! so mga 10 or 11 packs ata bnli ko, tapos 3 stax hahahah! may free taste pa ng royce sa grocery nla, o db? pero mas mahal dun kysa sa sing
- Tuktuk home to leave stuff
- Walked to Siam. mali ang daan namin so ang layo layo hahah! pinapalit ung hair gel ni sol sa watsons kasi expired na pala :(
- MBK to buy apple keyboard for jon. sol also bought more food for pasalubong
- BTS and MRT to Suam Lum. steeg mrt nla ang ganda parang sa HK daw sb ni sol. then from suan lum station nilakad namin papntang polo chicken. langya pagkalayo layo! ang dami na namin pnagtanungan along the way bago kme nakaratng dun! as in ang layo nya from the station, tapos gabi pa un so mas scary maglakd!
- Polo chicken. ordered half chicken (with lotsa garlic!), sticky rice, and catfish salad! msarap lahat! natraumatize lng ako sa CR nla kasi old school huhuh =(( kung d lng tlga ako desperate, d ko papatulan un
- Tuktuk to Suam Lum night bazaar. ang mahal ng mga benta dun! imagine unang bnagy skn sa vintage shirt 650 baht! then tawaran kme up to 150 baht. grabe ha! so obviously la ako nabili dun ahaha
- MRT and BTS pauwi. mas masakit pa paa namin this time!
highlights of the day: missing our stop and the walk to polo chicken
day 4:
- breakfast
- dapat babalik pa kme ng chatuchak kaso the night before naicp namin wag nlng hahha
- central world. shet ang ganda ng mall! grabe! ikot ikot lng, tapos nakakita c sol ng parang surplus shop dun. shet ang mura ng billabong!!! as in!! namakyaw tlga ako! inabot ako 1400baht haha pero sulit! old styles na kasi n pero nonetheless, billabong parn! after nun nag gelato kami charap!
- lunch @ secret garden. isa pang parusa paunta lakad kme ng malayo at sa init pa ng araw! grabe tlga!! ang definition ng mga tao dun ng walking distance eh tricycle distance ang katapat dito sa pinas! pero the food was worth it! we ordered sea bass cooked in 2 ways, chicken wings, and noodles. sarap nung sea bass na oriental ang sauce! ang dami dami dami nung seabass ang hrap ubusin! bundat kme after hahah! pero cympre kelangn magdessert. so lumipat kami sa katabi nya na dessert place na cafe sweets at inorder ang best seller nla na crepe cake! man it melts in your mouth! grabe! at tumambay nlng muna kme dun at nagbasa ng magazine. ang sarap! saka maganda ung place, ang sarap magpicture
- tambay sa central world. ang ganda ng sinehan nla grabe!
- back to platinum mall for shopping, nakabili me ng top for jon heheh
- no dinner na since super busog pa kme from lunch hahah
highlights of the day: billabong sale, the freakin long walk to secret garden, the seabass, and the crepe cake
day 5:
- late breakfast
- check out. nagkaprob pa kme dahl sinisingil kme ng 2 mineral water na d naman namin kinuha. pero in the end, cla ang bumigay hahah
- tambay at central world. food trip! lunch at taling ping. we order noodle with pork and egg saka salt and pepper squid. masarap ung noodle kaso malangis
- dessert at swensens. on our way there, ang dami namin nadaanan. ung floor ng swensens puro kainan eheh. we ordered the chocolate fondue. it included 4 scops of ice cream of our choice (strawberry banana, midnight choco, blueberry crumble, turkish coffee), honeydew, and banana. ang sarap grabe!
- ikot ikot again
- ice cream. nagorder kami nung maliliit parang thumb. 5 flavors un (chocolate green tea, paradise tea, cookie malt, black forest, and raspberry sorbet). ung chooclate tea para kang kmakain ng seaweed na may chocolate, ung paradise ang tapang dn ng coffee taste. ung cookie malt at black forest masarap. ung raspberry maasim
- dinner part 1: kfc. we ordered the cirpsy sushi and the roasted wing. sarap!
- dinner part 2: mcdo. carribean shrimp burger, fries, and thai iced tea float
- dinner part 3: auntie annes. italian chicken funnel (which is similar to the pizza cone, except that it had no cheese and the cone was made of pretzel)
- dpat magmister donut pa kme, kaso d na namin kaya hehe
- breadtalk for take out nung mga items na wala dito haha
- back to hotel to wait for our sundo
- bid bangkok bye bye :(
highlights of the day: the mineral water and food trip!
super enjoy tlga! sb nga namin ni sol kaya na namin ang 4 days to shop in bangkok heheh! nxt tym balik na kme with the boys, at tour naman kme since we didnt get the chance to go around for the cultural stuff hehehe
