i was hoping na walang pasok 2day... but gma only declared a non working holiday for schools and govt offices.. n its up to the decision of the private offices if they want to call off work or not... cympre asa pako! malamang may pasok kme. anyway, flashback lng sa weekend ko
sat we went to sunlife for the live data conversion. actually wla tlga akong silbi dun sa event na yun except for some clarifications from kath n joanne. tpos d rest of the tym i was so loud and noisy because of making chika with the ppl there na super tagal ko nang d nakikita - kmj, david, ana, ms timmy, sir solomon. also, i got hooked to the gold miner game that david played in the pc! i even lost count of how many tmes i played the game. in fairness, i made it to level 11 hehehe. food was all around us. for am snack we had regular yum with TLC (tomato lettuce and cabbage according to david hahahahhaha), max fried chicken for lunch, and starbucks and c2 for pm snack. waaah i was really full that day!
but the highlight of the whole data conversion was our "interview" with david. we wanted to clarify and gather more details into some of his very juicy blog entries, so we put him in the "hot seat" and tortured him until he blurted out the whole story. it was really fun (especially for me since i am greatly known for being an "imbestigador") and we were so happy and kilig for him!!!!!!!! haha hopefully his blog color will soon be red (or maybe pink hehehhe)
at around 6pm the conversion was not yet over but mark kath and i had to go to banawe to take care of something so joanne was left behind. david came with us because he was supposed to go to their shop in banawe. it was raining on our way there, then we thought that we might get stuck if it gets flooded so we called up our contact and told him that we would go there some other time. good thing he was nice enough to oblige. then mark said "gimik nalang tayo" so we went to rockwell hehehhehe (mga pasaway tlga!)
we bought tickets for the truth about love and since it was not until 45 minutes before the muvi would start, we played billiards. me and david vs mark and kath. grabe galing pla ni david! cya ay isang billiards guru! he taught me the proper posture and the correct hand position! in fairness i was able to shoot some balls and even scored the 8 ball for the win in our last game!!! sb ko nga ky david im giving him the lifetime mission of making me an expert in billiards! haha bilib dn ako sa patience nya dahl i really suck at sports at ang tagal tagal bago ko nakuha ung correct positioning hehehe! tpos after nun nood n kme muvi. ok lng cya pero para skn cya ung tipong muvi na pang-vcd lng heheheh pero nice naman cya in fairness cute story!
sun naman i met up with aimee tin n jane dahl that will be the last weekend na and2 c aimee sa manila before she goes to france. due to limited resources, we settled for binondo. kain kme yellow cab grabe d namin naubos ang dami kc ehheh! we stayed there for like 12noon to 4pm chikahan lng haha! tpos lipat kme starbux hanggng mga 7pm kme dun chikahan pa rn haha!! it was really nice catching up on them dahl tagal na namin d nagkkta. sayang nga lng wla c haids.. it would have been so much wackier and mas maingay pa when she is around. tpos laugh trip pa dahl c tin e bglang knausap ng isang matandang guy at chinika. kala naman namin kakilala nya hnd naman pla! waaah wla na c haids tpos c aimee sa january pa ang balik mkhang matatagalan pa bgo kme ulit mgkta kta =(

fun weekend!!!!!
after weeks of being a bore and a kj, i finally got to get a social life last weekend. loads of thanks to my benefactors (you know who u are). love ko kyo sbra hehehhe!!!
last friday my spl friends (math n jj) invited me to watch a movie in glorietta. hahaha jj convinced me to come with them with assurances. how can i refuse?
the rain was pouring really hard when i was crossing the overpass to greenbelt. i actually felt kinda paranoid that they might cancel because of the rain. good thing they didnt hehehe! so we met at glorietta food choices. i ate world chicken for dinner!! i couldnt even remember the last time i ate there. actually i was not supposed to eat dinner anymore, but my stomach would not cooperate. i ordered chicken (what else?) with smoked pepper sauce (i wanted to try it since it was new) with potato salad (fave side dish!) and baked potato (again, something new!!) they were all good, causing me to finish everything!! so after that my stomach really felt heavy, especially since it was the first time that i am able to eat everything from an order of world chicken in one sitting since i usually split it with another person. but it was well worth it!
after dinner we watched wedding crashers! the movie was one hell of a laugh trip!! the lines were witty and i especially loved the last part wherein they were in a funeral!! hahaahhahahhaha!!!!!! i also saw the trailer for harry potter!! i cant wait to see that movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
saturday naman we went to world trade center for the expo. we expected to see some food that would give us cravings, but the expo kinda disappointed us. but the tasting the free samples was fun, especially the chocolate fountain (heaven....). i asked how much the fountain was. the smaller one was 180k while the taller one was 216/260k (pardon i usually have problems with my ear hehehe)... i swear if i have the money to dispose, i would get myself one of those.
after expo we headed to sch for the annual academic reco. it started soooooo late and it was boring, especially since the D.O. was restricting us to cheer and shout for our friends. kill joys. good thing it ended quite early, probably also because of the many absentees. right after the event, ralph, del, joan, jr and i took the stairs instead of the elevator to avoid human traffic. when we reached the conserv for cocktails, daran!!! we were the first to arrive! so we grabbed the opportunity and indulged ourselves with the food! the fact that the plates were so small did not hinder us (of course we were very resourceful). aside from our own plates, we got more plates and filled each one with one kind of food. so it was like one plate of full of chicken lollipops, one plate of hotdogs, a plate of sandwiches, a plate (or rather, a stack) of brownies, a plate of bbq and cups of juice. i couldnt even remember how many times we went back to the table for another round. we had so many plates in our table which made it quite obvious that we really enjoyed the food heheheh! we should have taken pictures of the before and after scene hahahhaha!
after that we stayed at osac to kill time. poor del was harrassed by JR and arwin (and me too!)hahaha! then del dropped me and joan off to RP.
joan and i watched charlie and the chocololate factory!! the movie is soooo cute!!! i was fascinated by the chocolate falls.... i thought to myself "to hell with the fountain, i want the falls instead!!!!" the oompah loompahs were so adorable!!! anyone have the lyrics to their songs??? johnny depp was great. now i think of willy wonka as creepy and psychotic but nice nonetheless hehehe! i also liked the ways in which the bad kids and their parents got screwed up!! the trained squirrels were sooooo cute!! of course, i got mesmerized by the all the chocolate in the movie, which i thought was the best part of it heheheh!
yesterday was the usual family day. since we had to buy a gift for the grandson of my mom's komare and we were also running low on our sari-sari store supply, we went to glorietta (as always). we had lunch at bizu to try out their week special which is breaded chicken breast with bacon and mashed potato with some kind of sauce. it was reaaaaaallllyyy goood!! we also had fried fish fillet which was also yummy, and angel hair putanesca, which we didnt like because they put too much olives and capers. after that we dropped by sugarhouse to buy the brownie that alvin blogged about (i have yet to taste it later). as usual, we went to the grocery to replenish our food stocks in the house.
after that we had dinner at the seafood warf in roxas boulevard. we ordered fried stuffed squid, fried stuffed salmon, shrimp, and my fave - halaan!!!! i feasted over the halaan since the sauce was very delicious (altho it was really oily), and it was really cool because the prices were really cheap. we spent like 700 pesos only and still had food to take home. not bad ey?
i really enjoyed this weekend!!! now the week has started again.. o well hahahah
irritating monday
what a way to start my week.
just a question. if u own something and lend it to someone, and then they return it to u in a different (and worse) state before u lent it (e.g. broken, damaged, dirty), how would u feel?
i would be irritated.
call me OC or maselan. but for me, its just a metter of respecting other people's stuff.
this is the third time that this has happened. and im not liking it.
some people can be really insensitive and indifferent. fuck with them.
another irritating experience of mine today was when i was riding the bus on my way to the office this morning, one passenger (which was like a minimum of 4 rows away from me) was smoking and the smell of the cigarette was reaching the area where i was seated. to set it straight, i have nothing against smokers, but aren't they supposed to not smoke while riding public transportation?
